For today’s deep sea fishing charter this July 12, 2018, Andrew Knepley and family came from out-of-state to fish on the Aces Wild in Rhode Island. It was a beautiful day and the water was like a pond. For this charter, we headed out for the North Rip to see if we could hook-up on some striped bass. Once we arrived we dropped in the lines and trolled for a 1/2 hour with no results.
We, therefore, decided to try another location and headed for the Southwest Corner. Once there we noticed birds working the water, so we dropped the lines in once we arrived. It didn’t take long before we hooked into 4 large stripers and 2 extra large Bluefish. One bass weighed 37lbs and was brought in by an 88-year-old gentleman. Power to the seniors!
This was a great deep sea fishing trip for this family on the Aces Wild and we hope to see them again next year.
