As we headed out on this fishing charter we had yet another beautiful day on the water. Mother nature is making it up to us for the lousy beginning of the fishing season.
On today’s charter, July 15th, 2018, Jennifer, her husband, and father were back for another charter this season. Expectations were high for this year! We started our fishing out on the Rip and stayed along the outer edge where we caught 2 striped bass.
Since the tide was almost dead we decided to go for Sea Bass. We used a jig and were pulling in Sea Bass non-stop. Soon everyone was tired, so we went back to get some more stripers. We dropped the lines and trolled for about 2 minutes and hauled in 2 beauties. We continued trolling and caught a total of 11 stripers of which we kept only 5, which was our limit.
