Met customers at the dock in Galilee at 6am ready to go……it was another beautiful day.  Headed for the north rip of Block Island and dropped the lines in to troll.  Not much success with umbrella rigs so we switched to parachutes.

Parachutes are made to resemble squid swimming in the water, but you have to jig the rod back and forth to get that reaction.  When the fish does hit it is very exciting and unexpected.  When you hook a fish you must hold the rod high to keep a bend in it because we are using wire line and it does not give, so the rod must give.

We had five anglers on board for a bachelor party and they limited out plus.  All had a great time.

Another great RI striper fishing Charter on the Aces Wild…!!!
