We were out June 15th and the weather was not so good.  Rainy, breezy and very cool.  We were on a Fishing Charter off Block Island and the action was very slow.  We actually tried several locations and each one was slow.  We attributed this to the really cold, long spring.

While heading to another location Matt, the mate, noticed birds working the water.  We headed over there and put our lines in.  After just a couple minutes we hooked into a striper! This was a welcome change to the trip.

After we brought that one in we were letting the lines out again.  As I went to close the bail (we were trolling) I immediately had another striped bass!  As the other line was bring brought up it hooked into a striper as well for a two at once scenario!

We ended up having a really great RI Fishing Charter despite the weather!
