Left the dock at 5am on our August 10th, 2018 RI Fishing Charter with Dave and friends. This morning we headed out to the North End. When we arrived, we slowed down to see if we could mark fish on the finder. We didn’t see anything. So, we decided to continue to the South West Corner and trolled our regular spots. After a short time we hooked a small throwback Striped Bass. We turned around and trolled the same spot and in a short while picked up a 40″ striper. Another 1/2 hour of trolling and we found some more fish.
We caught another striper while jigging, and it was 43″. We continued trolling in that same area and caught a total of 6 stripers, five of which were keepers, and one large blue.
These folks went fishing with us last year but didn’t have too much luck. Today was definitely much more successful! It was a great day on the Aces Wild!
